Terms and Conditions

The following ticketing terms and conditions are for events (“Events”) hosted by the Abbey Cultural and Performance Association, a registered not-for-profit Company 2013 bearing registration number as U88900MH2025NPL443036 formed under the laws of India, having its registered address at 701/A Godrej Coliseum, Sion, Mumbai 400022, India, operating as ‘Abbey 301’

 

The term ‘Ticket Holder’ means person/s holding the tickets for the Events. By purchasing tickets, the Ticket Holder agrees to the following terms and conditions:

(Applicable to all visitors, patrons, artists, collaborators, and service users)

 

1. General

  1. Entry into the premises and participation in any event or service implies acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

  2. The management reserves the right to amend, modify, or update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

  3. Abbey 301 functions as a cultural and community space, and all patrons are expected to conduct themselves with dignity, courtesy, and respect for the space, its heritage, performers, staff, and fellow visitors.

 

2. Tickets and Entry

  1. Entry to events is permitted only upon presentation of a valid ticket, pass, or confirmation (digital or physical).

  2. Tickets once purchased are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless explicitly stated otherwise for a specific event.

  3. Late entry may be restricted for certain performances in the interest of artists and audiences.

  4. The management reserves the right to refuse entry or ask any person to leave the premises for inappropriate behaviour, safety concerns, or violation of these Terms.

  5. Tickets are valid only for a specific Event to be held at a specific date and time as mentioned in the ticket. A ticket purchased for a particular Event shall not be permitted to be used for entry to any other Event. 

  6. Management shall not be responsible for any lost or damaged tickets.

  7. Ticket Holder/s accept all customary risks associated with live entertainment.  

  8. Management and/or its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, consequential or incidental damages and/or losses that the Ticket Holder may suffer or purport to suffer from their visit, including without limitation, due to an Event cancellation, personal injury and/or death. 

 

3. Events, Performances, and Programming

  1. Event schedules, artists, programmes, and durations are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.

  2. Abbey 301 shall not be liable for cancellations, rescheduling, or artist substitutions beyond reasonable control.

  3. Photography, videography, or audio recording during performances may be restricted. Any such restriction must be strictly adhered to.

  4. Intellectual property rights of artists and performers are protected. Unauthorized recording or reproduction is prohibited.

 

4. Food and Beverage (F&B) Services

  1. Food and beverages are served as per availability and operational timings.

  2. Outside food or beverages are not permitted unless expressly allowed by management.

  3. Patrons are requested to inform staff of any allergies or dietary restrictions; however, Abbey 301 shall not be liable for allergic reactions.

  4. Consumption of alcohol, where permitted, is strictly governed by applicable laws and licences. Service may be refused to intoxicated persons.

  5. F&B purchases once made are non-refundable.

 

5. Health, Safety, and Conduct

  1. Patrons must comply with all safety instructions, signage, and staff directions at all times.

  2. Smoking, vaping, or use of prohibited substances is not permitted except in designated areas, if any.

  3. Any damage to property, artwork, equipment, or furnishings will be charged to the responsible individual.

  4. Children must be supervised by accompanying adults at all times.

  5. Ticket Holders are subject to all safety and security policies and procedures maintained by Management including policies relating to social distancing, hygiene, wearing of masks, etc. as Management may in its absolute discretion deem fit from time to time. Management reserves the right without refund or compensation to refuse admission to any person/s unable or refusing to adhere to its safety and security policies and procedures.

  6. The Ticket Holder voluntarily assumes all risk and danger incidental to the Event whether occurring prior to, during or subsequent to the actual Event, including any death, personal injury, loss, damage or liability.

 

6. Personal Belongings and Liability

  1. Abbey 301 is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.

  2. Entry and participation are at the visitor’s own risk. Abbey 301 shall not be liable for personal injury unless caused by proven negligence.

 

7. Accessibility and Special Needs

  1. Abbey 301 endeavours to be inclusive and accessible. Visitors requiring assistance are encouraged to inform staff in advance wherever possible.

  2. Certain heritage or performance spaces may have physical limitations.

 

8. Use of Premises and Facilities

  1. The premises may not be used for solicitation, promotion, or commercial activity without prior written permission.

  2. Any collaborative use of the space (events, workshops, pop-ups, exhibitions) will be governed by separate written agreements.

 

9. Privacy and Data

  1. Personal information collected for ticketing, communication, or services will be used only for operational purposes.

  2. By entering the premises, patrons consent to possible photography or videography for archival or promotional use, unless expressly objected to in writing.

  3. During the visit, the Ticket Holder expressly agrees and consents to being recorded, photographed, filmed, identified and/or otherwise digitally captured (collectively called “Recordings”) and further authorizes use of such Recordings on such platforms as the Management or its affiliated entities deem fit. 

 

10. Force Majeure

  1. Abbey 301 shall not be held responsible for failure or delay in performance of services due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, government restrictions, natural calamities, or technical failures.

 

11. Governing Law

  1. These Terms & Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts.

  2. The Ticket Holder shall indemnify and keep Management indemnified against all losses arising from or in any manner relating to their visit and /or the breach of these terms and conditions. 

  3. In case of difference of opinion, the decision of Management shall be final and binding.

  4. In case of any dispute, Courts in Mumbai shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
