Diwali Pahat with Chirag Katti

Chirag Katti, sitar

Ajinkya Joshi, tabla

Celebrate the spirit of Diwali with a morning of Hindustani classical music at Abbey 301.

Diwali Pahat, a cherished Maharashtrian tradition, welcomes the festive season with music at dawn. Rooted in the idea of beginning the day with beauty and reflection, these early morning concerts bring audiences together to experience ragas traditionally associated with the first light of day.

Acclaimed sitarist Chirag Katti and tabla player Ajinkya Joshi bring this tradition to Abbey 301, with a recital of morning ragas that capture the serenity and promise of a new day.
