Exhibition: Sculptures by G Reghu

Friday, 30 January 2026 onwards

An exhibition of 32 ceramic sculptures by the artist G Reghu is displayed on the Abbey grounds, available to view at different times of day, at your leisure, as they play with the light and our own perception of time and space, showing us ourselves, silent, evocative, timeless.

The works in the exhibition are available for purchase.

About the artist

Born in 1959 in Kilimanoor, Kerala, sculptor G Reghu has been working with ceramic clay for over three decades and is known for terracotta and stoneware figures whose folk-inflected forms feel at once ancient and playfully contemporary. His figures and themes stem from the rural areas of Wayanad and Bastar, and the aesthetic language of his work and his affinity for working with local materials stems from some of the early influences in his life, including his own agricultural background.
